Contemporary living and working space in new-build complex enriches the Sittard train station area.
A quality boost for the local area: the heavily outdated and long-standing vacant office building that is no longer suitable for reuse will be demolished to make way for a contemporary residential and office concept. Because of its unique location, close to the Sittard train station and facilities, the building is ideal for small households and for new and/or temporary employees of the Chemelot companies.
In December 2023, the first phase of the project at Stationsplein in Sittard was delivered, with 38 affordable studios. The second phase, a block of 27 affordable studios on the nearby Bergstraat, was ready in Augusty 2025.
